SETTING OF THE OPTIMAL ABSTRACTION OPERATIONAL FRAMEWORK |

Objectives |
|||||
|
The
broad objective of this Task is to progressively take control of
the whole network of the interested district (Cerbaie) and
integrate it in the basin network control system of ATO2, in
order to optimise flows and pressures within a broader scope. |

Actions
This Task is organised into the following main actions:
4.1 Measurement campaign - on the zones affected by works. Conducted in order to reassess the actual network behaviour. By means of the analysis on the gathered data the hydraulic model updating follows, allowing the identification of sensitive nodes candidate for remote control.
4.2 Remote control of key nodes - by mean of installation of the apparatuses and interfaces to the control system for implementing the SCADA (system control and data acquisition).
4.3 Fine tuning of the system - made in continuous. Each intervention is preceded by a forecast of optimal conditions to be achieved and analysis of propagation effects. After the intervention real word data are analysed in order to check results and simulation reliability.Tuning go on until achieving the alignment of night and day pressure values.
4.4 Outline ASAP Step 3 protocol - Action includes gathering relevant information, data and examples for this step of ASAP protocol and guidelines. The draft will then be issued for peer-to-peer verification with other experts. The revision - based on feed back - of the second section of ASAP handbook will also be done
